A new 31,770m2 £70 million office building in the City of London designed for major City institutional occupiers currently under construction.

Won in invited competition by David Roden as a director of HKR the building form responds to the complex site with rights of light and strategic view constraints placed on the site, and also to the engineering challenge of the adjoining Moorgate Station and Cross Rail tunnels.

At the lower levels the building creates large floorplates and steps back with planted terraces at the upper levels.

David Roden Architects were subsequently retained by Skanska Construction to assist them with their technical design review at tender stage.
